Dental/dental hygiene trainees discuss approaches to delivering patient care. (2023)
Unfortunately, if we want to speak in the real world, there are dentists that are like that… And no one is really controlling them because they can, seemingly, do everything by the book, everything that goes into the computer, what they show the patient. Everything can be right. But how they work with the patient, running from… like one dentist, six operatories, and half of them could be full at one time. At some point, they do cut corners. I’ve personally seen it, and I’m sure a lot of people have seen it. I’ve also seen dentists who are not monetized by the state or anything, but also stick to their principles. Someone once told me, if you want to even work at Aspen, go work at Aspen, but you do you, basically. You have your own principles. You can. But yeah, at some level, you can’t really control how dentists are.
