Generally, we get assigned by our Clinic Directors. There’s clinic groups and they are all led by a Clinic Director. And they’ll assign you, they have a pool of patients and they assign based on needs, the student needs. We also have an influx of patients from clinics like the emergency clinic, if someone is interested in starting care at the school, there’s patients that hear about the dental school, and come in through something called the screening clinic.
So those are ways that we… And then you can also, if you go out and recruit a patient, or if you have a friend that wants to come see you, you can also build a profile for them, and have them come see you. So, there’s a few ways that you can, but primarily we get referrals, and assignments of patients from our Directors.- Dental Transcripts p 20-21
