From the smell–a mixture of bleach and mint mouthwash–to the water sucking tube that makes her drool to the pointy tool the dentist uses to pick at her teeth, fourth grader Katie Kazoo really hates going to the dentist. When she accidentally scares her friend’s younger brother right before his first visit to the dentist, she wishes she could fix it. When Katie wishes something, that’s when the switcheroo occurs. A magic wind comes that transforms her into someone else, like Dr. Sang, the local dentist. Can she take on the task of convincing a six-year-old (and herself) that going to the dentist isn’t really so scary?
