Sweet Tooth

Picture book by Margie Palatini and illustrated by Jack E. Davis. Simon & Schuster for Young Readers: New York, 2004.

Stewart has a sweet tooth that causes many problems for him because of its insatiable appetite for candy, cookies, and cake. He ruins his cousin’s wedding when he destroys the wedding cake, gets sent to the principal’s office for shouting out candy names instead of the correct answer, and devours the contents of his family’s Easter baskets. Stewart finally decides to fight back, turning to a carrot to defeat his sweet tooth once and for all.
