Little Critter has to go to the dentist for a check-up, even though he tells his mom his teeth are fine and he doesn’t need to. Readers join in the experience, learning about the different tools dental hygienists and dentists use, what happens during a check-up, and even the experience of having a cavity filled. In the end, Little Critter decides going to the dentist isn’t so bad.
