Dental/dental hygiene trainee discusses access to care (2023)
Something that does help us at our school with access and minority groups is we do have language lines. We have these iPads that help us translate. So, we have American Sign Language, Spanish… There’s a list of 50 languages on there, and an interpreter comes up. It’s so accessible. It’s amazing. I don’t think I would be able to see five of my patients if I didn’t have it.
