I had one person who, when interacting with a patient asked, “Oh, you don’t have $400, you don’t have X amount of money.” And in my mind that was like, well, to assume that someone would have any amount of money seems very prejudiced to me. We deal with a very wide range of socioeconomic statuses and it’s just an assumption that we shouldn’t be making that anyone has… That can afford any amount of treatment.
