Patients/community member discuss oral health and aging. (2023)
I feel like it’s very important. Especially, as I’m aging, and I’m 53, so you’ve got to take care. I feel like your oral care is important to your overall care, because if your teeth are not healthy, your gums are not healthy, you have other issues. Other problems in your body, which I never realized that maybe until the past few years. My doctors and different people have been mentioning, “How often do you get your teeth cleaned? How often do you see a dentist?” And I always have. That’s always been every six months, cleanings, along with my children. I always made sure that we kept up on that stuff, so it’s always been very important to me.
